The following is a research and photo documentation project called, Textures. These photographs and layout experimentations are based on my daily walks through the woods of Massachusetts and Minnesota. They are photographs of places that I continually journey past but have decided to pause this one moment and take a closer look at the landscape around me. I find textures and colors in nature fascinating and I keep in mind that this is probably the last time that I ever will see this exact instance in my lifetime. Photographs are the last visual memories of our given moments and encounters. These images and what I remember of them have also been my sole companions for all those times that I have walked through these fields and forests. This series has also been used for a poster series I developed for a park in Massachusetts and are used for my MFA thesis project for the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
