This poster was created to promote the Default Settings photography exhibition hosted by the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of the District of Columbia. The design’s goal was to capture the reflective and personal tone of the exhibit while presenting a unified visual system for institutional use.
The central silhouetted artwork was created by Connor Tracy, a UDC student whose photographic work was also featured in the exhibition. His visual contribution served as a conceptual anchor for the design — emphasizing themes of presence, absence, and the framing of identity.
The poster was displayed across campus and in digital promotions. It also served as a visual identity touchpoint for event materials including signage, social media, and printed programs.
