Branding executed for the Downtown and Waterfront Urban Renewal Plan for Fall River, Massachusetts. The renewal project plan itself was done by Harriman for the Fall River Redevelopment Authority (FRRA). Branding involved applications for all collateral and the graphic elements were taken and translated from familiar landmarks.
Like many urban renewal plans, this report was to help transform the inherent collection of streets and buildings into a destination that would help provide jobs, goods, services, and housing. Emphasis is given to the physical and visual qualities of the community with the objective of people and businesses to come and revisit Fall River. This community engagement is enhanced by places to pause and reflect, offering a welcoming environment, and establish the area with creative streetscape components, including drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and people of different ages and mobility levels.
